Aid to
Intercaste marriages |

Couples socially isolated and harassed for intercaste marriages
are given a financial aid of Rs.10,000/-. For this either husband or wife should
belong to Scheduled caste and annual family income should be less than
Rs.12,000. Application in prescribed form, caste certificate of the couple, co
living certificate from a Gazetted Officer certifying that they have been living
together for over a year, copy of marriage agreement should be produced. The
application should be submitted within 3 years and after one year of marriage to
Block/Municipality/Corporation Scheduled Caste Development Officer. |

Travel
allowance for job candidates |
| |
|
|
Travel allowance is given for candidates appearing for tested
interviews conducted by P.S.C. & Employment Exchange for job recruitment. (Bus
charge/train charge required for the to & fro journeys). This is given through
Gramapanchayat/ Municipality/ Corporation. |

Financial aid
for house construction to Scheduled Caste
people |
| |
|
|
The homeless scheduled caste people are given Rs.70,000/ as
financial aid to construct terraced houses of 323 sq. ft with sit out, hall, one
room, kitchen and toilet. The aid is given to those who have no houses with
proper living conditions, who own at least 2 cents of land and are below poverty
line. The aid is given in 4 installments (At the rate 15%, 30%, 40%, and 15%).
Applications should be given to District Scheduled caste development officer/
Block Municipal Corporation / Scheduled Caste development officer. |

House loans |
| |
|
|
House loans are given based on annual income. For those, with
annual income upto Rs.30,000 , an amount of Rs.75,000 and for annual income
between 30,000-50,000, interest free loan Rs.1,00,000 is given. For this they
should possess at least 4 cents of land.
Application in prescribed forms, along with caste, income certificates, plan and
estimate of the house to be constructed (approved by Govt. Engineer) records to
prove ownership of land and certificates should be submitted to District
Scheduled Caste Development Officer when applications are called for. Those
selected are allotted the amount in 4 installments according to the progress of
construction. The amount should be repaid in 240 monthly installments. |

Grant for
roofing houses |
| |
|
|
Scheduled caste people are given financial aid
up to Rs.500/- for thatching their roofs, and for roofs with tiles up to 2,500.
Grant amount will be enhanced to Rs.3000, for strengthening and laying tiles on
roof. Implemented through gramapanchayat / municipality / corporation. Annual
income limit Rs.12,000/- |

Financial
aid for publishing books of writers |

|
|
As part of removing untouchability financial
aid is given for publishing selected works of writers belong to Scheduled
caste/tribes through ‘Sahithya Pravarthaka Sahakarana Sangam’. The actual
expense for publishing 1000 copies or Rs.20,000 whichever is less is allowed.
For receiving this aid application should be submitted to Chief Publicity
Officer of Scheduled Caste Development Department when notification for the same
is published.
Typed copy of the work and a certificate of willingness to publish the work
should accompany the application. If selected the applicant should produce copy
of caste certificate. |

Scheme for buying & distributing land to
landless/homeless |

Scheduled caste families
The Scheduled caste people who have no land or house of their own are given
monetary aid to buy at the least two cents in gramapanchayat and one and a half
cents in city area. The aid is at the rate of Rs.19,500/- in gramapanchayat
limits 20,000/- in Municipal areas and Rs.25,000/- in Corporation areas. |
